How configure SPA492 IP phone?

I’ve got a couple of IP phones (Linksys spa942’s) that I want to attach to my asterisk system, but the docs either don’t exist or I don’t understand them. I’ve got the spa942’s powered up and configured (hopefully correctly), and I’ve got asterisk (PBX in a Flash) to set up extentions, but neither phone will
answer… no dial tone… and I’m only dialing phones on the LAN, not outside POTS lines.

Any ideas? Many thanks…Vic

Are they registering?

For registration you basically only need to provide Proxy, username
and password, leave Auth ID disabled.

That is pretty much it from the phone side.
