Hello, I am new to asterisk, and would like to know how I can test out asterisk without haveing a new phoneline??? (if there is a way) Will anything come up when I type top? I would like to find out if everything is ok before I go any further. I do have a digium card in the computer
OS is FreeBSD 5.4

You may test Asterisk as a VoIP only solution using the FWD service in conjunction with IPKALL.

Thanks for the fast reply, I did all that get it all setup in asterisk, and now all I get is a busy signal when I dial the number??? Any clues?
