i have regularly files turning up in one users voicemail directory in the folder tmp. there are files in gsm, and wav format which grow huge after time. what can cause this files to grow there ? what does actually put files in there at all ?

Have you listened to the files ? It will give you a good clue to what they are

i do hesitate to do so since i would consider that violation of privacy because it is in a users voicebox. if there is another way of finding out i would prefer that.

okay, i have listened to some of those files. they contain only a “humming” noise. nothing like any tone of a phone system or any voice. any i dea what places the files there ?
