Dtmp # key and transfer - how do I stop this

#1

Hi everybody,

Asterisk 1.2.2, with a Cisco 7960 SIP phone as an operator console.
Totally SIP environment.

I have a problem in that I need to be able to send the code #95 from
the Cisco phone during a conversation with another phone. The other
phone is connected to a barrier arm system, and this code opens the
arm remotely. However, the # key always starts the “transfer” functionality, and Asterisk moans about extension 95 not existing.

Is there anyway I can get asterisk to ignore the #, and just pass it
as a dtmf tone to the other phone, yet still have a way to transfer calls?

Thanks in advance for the help

Ross
