Dial different extension when getting voicemail

I apologize if this has been covered but I’m not quite sure what this feature would be called so am not sure how to research it.

Here’s my scenario:

Say someone calls in and tries to connect to an extension. The extension rings but the person does not pick up and the caller is about to be sent to voice mail. Before they reach the voice mail box I would like to give the option to my callers to dial another extension.

How would I go about doing that?

I used this a couple years ago, but I can’t speak for the latest builds. I would expect that it still works just fine, however.

The short of it is you modify voicemail.conf to include operator=yes, the define ‘o’ in the extensions.conf context where the voicemail command lives.
