Does anyone have any recommendation on Cordless VOIP Phones that work with Asterisk.

Thanks for the link.

Has anyone used these handsets?

The reason I am asking is because I purchased a Yealink w52P. The problem is that it gets calls to the IP bypassing the Asterisk server from bots on the internet. And Yealink has no fix for this as of yet.

Can you put a firewall in front of the W52 to only allow traffic from your sip servers to the phone?

I just checked my W52 and you are right, They don’t have the setting the other Yealink phones have to restrict direct IP calls.

I’ve not used the SNOM cordless, I have used the Panasonic KX-TGP500/KX-TGP550 phones with good success.

So what I am looking for is a cordless phone that can allow me to give each handset a different extension. I am now looking at these Cisco WIP310 Wireless-G IP Phones as a possible solution.

I am currently doing some tests on this phone Panasonic KX-TGP500 SIP DECT. So far it is great easy to config can handle up to 8 lines on one phone with different extensions. And up to 6 handsets on one base station

Keep in mind the KX-TGP500 has a limit of 3 concurrent calls.

While you can have 6 handsets or 8 extensions only 3 can be on the phone at once.

Thanks for the TIP. I will keep in mind.
