Connecting to console (CLI) ....lots of SIP trace

Hi,

When I start Asterisk by typing the command “asterisk -cvvv”, the CLI starts and prompts with:
Asterisk Ready.
*CLI>

Now if I run the command “reload chan_sip.so” or any other command, it replies with such messages:

-- Reloading module 'chan_sip.so' (Session Initiation Protocol (SIP))

Reloading SIP
== Parsing ‘/etc/asterisk/sip.conf’: Found
== Parsing ‘/etc/asterisk/sip_notify.conf’: Found

And then the CLI continues to show SIP traces contineously. If I hit Enter, I can see
the asterisk prompt *CLI> for a short while, but then the traces appear again. This makes difficult
to run command from the CLI. Any idea how to stop the trace from appearing on the CLI? Regards
