Hi

i’m traying to do in my asterisk CLI>> sip show peers , but it gives me this message :

[color=#FF0040]No such command ‘sip show peers’ (type ‘core show help sip show’ for other possible commands)[/color]

when i make reload chan_sip.so , i have this errors :

[color=#FF4000][Aug 13 11:21:32] NOTICE[10479]: loader.c:721 ast_module_reload: The module ‘chan_sip.so’ was not properly initialized. Before reloading the module, you must run “module load chan_sip.so” and fix whatever is preventing the module from being initialized.[/color]
and when i make module load chan_sip.so : i have this message :

Command ‘module load chan_sip.so’ failed.[/color]

This is the wrong forum for support questions.

I would have expected a more specific diagnostic, before the ones you have quoted.

Check that the modules exists, it was built for the same version, sip.conf exists, it is readable to the account used by asterisk, and so are the directories leading to it, and it is syntactically valid.

Reinstall:

  1. Clear /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/*

  2. Watch during “make” to see if it has errors

  3. Start with clean /etc/asterisk/ directory after backing up the previous one, do a fresh “make samples”, and make config

cd /usr/src/asterisk-XXX/

make clean;make;make install;make samples;make config

make menuselect

service asterisk restart
