Does anyone have a config file sample for the Mitel IP420 phone? I cannot set the sip server on the phone itself, and I was wondering if anyone had a copy of the config file that is pushed to the phones during provisioning.
You either have to set the SIP setting in the WebUI on the phone or push them as a DHCP option 120.
The phone has a web UI?
I don’t think the phone has a web UI. When I go to its IP address, it fails.
Is there a way to set the SIP server with the custom.txt file?
I may not be remembering this particular phone correctly.
Under the phone settings, is there an admin area? Password 22222 ?
This isn’t the 6900 series. I have a few 6900 series phones, and I have them properly configured. This is the IP400 series, the second generation of Shoretel IP Phones.
So I got to the point where I can define a sip server, but I think the phone uses TLS, and it isn’t recognizing my certificates.
