If in the sip.conf I have a template that specifies type=friend which is, from my understanding, both a peer and user account.
If I then specify for a user type=peer in the sip, do a sip reload or reload, if I run from the CLI > sip show user, would this client exist?
conversely,
If I changed that user to type=user, would that client show up in sip show peers?
As it stands right now, if I change a users “type=” they still show up in both sip show peer and user. Since peer will actually suffice for our application, I wanted to ensure that that was what I was doing.
