hello, i’m new to asterisk and i’ve tried to set up a server and all went well until zaptel,
i’m working with ubuntu server 10.04 LTS
i’ve successfully installed:
libpri 1.4.11.4
zaptel 1.4.12.1
asterisk 1.4.21.2
with no errors.
when i type "modprobe zaptel"
i recieve an error "FATAL: zaptel module not found"
i’ve googled it and tried all suggested solutions - non were effective.
how can i solve this?

You should be using dahdi for any new installation, and, in particular with that recent a 1.4.x Asterisk version.
Have you installed the /etc/init.d script for the device drivers?
