Cannot run latest Asterisk on Via

I have just downloaded and built asterisk 1.4.24.1 on a VIA Epia ME6000. A previous version of Asterisk (around 1.2 or 1.4) worked ok on ths cpu.

If I attempt to run the safe_asterisk script I get:

line 125: 6568 illegal instruction (core dumped) nice -n $PRIORITY ${ASTSBINDIR}/asterisk -f ${CLIARGS} ${ASTARGS} >&/dev/${TTY} </dev/${TTY}

Asterisk ended with exit status 132
Asterisk exited on signal 4
cat: /var/run/asterisk.pid: No such file or directory

Please help.

I just googled on asterisk on epia and this shows up :smile: I’m running Asterisk on Epia myself and with the change in the MAKE file it works ok.
