i live in Egypt and Sim Gateways not available here and need sooo much permissions from police to import it and it will not be accepted .
i think if i can use mobile phones instead of Gateways as it is the same idea i think .
Both of them you can put sim phone in it and both of them can deal with computer system
i hope someone can answer me in this case .
The technical problem will be that mobile phones are not normally designed to allow sending voice over the USB port.
The legal problem is that, if you do succeed, you will have created a gateway, and therefore be breaking the law.
The normal reason to bar gateways is to prevent mobile network resources being tied up on calls that could have used the fixed network
