Hello, I have a project I’m working on with our County 911 board. This would be a seldom-used secondary site solution, not our primary call center. I was wondering if Asterisk can handshake TSPS (wink or no-wink) or 1A-ESS to receive ANI information from the 911 trunks from the telco using a digium card.
It would rock if I could get this to work, as it would replace an antiquated system that only handles an average of six calls per year. Does anyone know if this is possible?
I am assuming that these handshake protocols are significantly different from a standard caller-id data stream, but maybe I’m wrong?
Thanks for your time!
