CallerID

How I do a Caller ID from PSTN with SIP Trunk in FXO?
I can’t make it works :frowning:

My central Asterisk is working good, I need to implement the caller id in Asterisk 1.8.

I need the caller ID from the PSTN, but the Asterisk only detects the SIP account that is linked the FXO channel.
Example:
The channel in the FXO sip identified as 101.
When I ask the caller id of the incoming call from pstn, the central show me 101

Please explain your problem more clearly. Although strictly speaking, SIP trunk is not an Asterisk term, SIP is symmetric, so there is no FXO or FXS concept.

I think what you have is:

PSTN analogue line - Third party Gateway - (SIP) - Asterisk…

The third party gateway is configured to register with Asterisk.

Try combinations of:

disabling the gateway’s equivalent of fromuser;
configuring the gateway for the correct caller ID protocol;
requesting the PSTN operator to provide caller ID;
enabling trust rpid in Asterisk;
enabling the equivalent of sendrpid in the gateway.
