Call Waiting

Hi all.

Is there a way to turn down the call waiting sound in the phone? I am using the new Cisco SPA phones and the beep is very loud. I called cisco and they walked me through turning it down in the phone. That did not work so I was hoping that there was a way in asterisk.

Hi

No AFAIK ALL tones are normally sent from the device, the exception being Dahdi devices

So this would be a phone setting only and would never be an asterisk setting?
