We have some clients in an asterisk 1.8. On this server the transfers attended are done with #. Therefore, when they try to enter an external conference room which has some digits and a final # as its pin, it is not possible to press, the server to execute the transfer.
any idea?
Noting that 1.8 hasn’t had mainstream support for almost half a decade, you could define a prefix code that dials the number with transfers disabled.

In Asterisk the feature is not enabled by default. It has to be enabled by passing the T option to Dial().
