Dear All,

i have installed AsteriskNow 6.12 64bit from .ISO, installed successful and creates some SIP account i.e 6001 & 6002 both can call without any issues.

Now my second task is now to dial outbound calls to landline & cell #, what should i need and what should i have to buy.

I am confused about DAHDI card, why and when we need this.

The easiest thing you could do is get a sip trunk from a provider in your country, They would give you one or multiple telephone numbers and authentication needed to place outbound calls through them.

DAHDI is a framework used to communicate with telephony interface cards such as the Digium A4 or TE131 card.
