I installed asterisk and asteriskgui2.0. I created a dialplan and a sip extension in the User tab, then I appplied changes.Then I try to register to asterisk using ekiga softphone with the user:“Extension” and the “SIP/IAX Password” that i have set in the gui but the registration failed. Why?[/img]
there could be lots of reasons, do you have the settings setup correctly in ekiga? Maybe try another sip phone, x-lite is good. Also can you paste the output from the console?
