Enabling a SIP user and testing in Ekiga

I downloaded the CentOS iso with AsteriskNow and currently I’m trying to get it working. When I try to connect to Asterisk using Ekiga it says “Could not register”.

What I did was;

  1. create a trunk using skype. Got a skype id etc.
  2. Created a outgoing call pattern _x!
  3. created a dial plan with every option enabled and the just created call pattern.
  4. created a user. Setting: http://images.harx.nl/sip_user2.png
  5. Tried to test the connection by using ekiga (settings:
    registar: ip of the machine,
    user: roel,
    authentication user: roel,
    password: blabla)

Any one any ideas on what is wrong?
