Asterisk -vvvvvrx 'core show channels verbose'

The output of the command asterisk -vvvvvrx ‘core show channels verbose’ shows total number of calls processed. That number is an indication of the calls processed since the service is running or last x hours or last x days?

It is since Asterisk was started.

It looks like it shows the total number of dialplan execution starts, which only corresponds to the number of calls in simple cases.

There are way more calls in the CDR log than in the command’s output. So I think that might not be the case.

CDR log persists across Asterisk restarts, and a single channel/call can result in more than 1 CDR record. It’s not 1 to 1.
