Asterisk GUI setup wizard problem

I’ve just installed Asterisk 1.4.6 with the Asterisk-GUI on Kubuntu 7.04

Installation went OK.

When I started the Asterisk GUI it started with the Setup Wizard.

Step 1 of 7: Verify Analog Ports. …OK

Step 2 of 7: Local Extension Settings…NOT OK. Local extensions are 2 digits long.
The number 2 is grayed out, and I can’t change it. When I go from step 1 to step 2, I can see for a split second that the number 4 appears, then it changes to 2 and gets grayed out.

Step 3 of 7: Service Providers… NOT OK . I can’t choose any of the provider types.

Step 4 of 7: Outbound Calling Rules…NOT OK

I continue going through the steps until I reach step 7 (step 5-6-7 also fails)

Then I get to : Finish
Congratulations You have successfully configured your Asterisk installation.
(the web page shows sucessfully. 1 or 2 s ?)
Click Next to proceed to the User Interface.

But…clicking Next brings the User Interfaces up for half a second and then jumps back to the Setup Wizard :unamused:

So, I’m stucked in a loop and can’t reach the User Interface.

Is this a bug or an installation problem ?

(In version 1.4.5 I didn’t have that problem.)
