Asterisk GUI ( astguiclient)

Again a novice to Asterisk, looking for advice and or instruction on installing astguiclient GUI or a good GUI interface.

Using the instruction from http://astguiclient.sourceforge.net/scratch_install.html I have already completed install of SuSe 10.2 and Asterisk-1.2.17 have been able to get IAX2 working with FWD but find the only instructions for this GUI a bit confusing.

Any help or insight much appreciated…
