Hey Team,
Running asterisk 1.8.7.0.0, have a number with Google Voice.
I know there were some issues with GV going to sleep after a period of time (say 5 minutes). I have read where there might be a problem with Jabber. I was wondering if there was fix for this that I haven’t seen or suggestions. I wrote a cron script to make test call every 10 minutes, this works fine from a reboot for about the first hour then it (GV) stops all together unless I make a call from a extension. Once I dial a outbound number (twice in a row) then GV and the script seems to work great for about another hour then GV goes into “sleep” mode again.
