Asterisk CLI won't open

Hello.am trying to connect to the Asterisk Command Line Interface, but it doesn’t connect.It only connects when i first start Asterisk using the command
asterisk -vvvc
After that when am not in the CLI and want to connect remotely using
asterisk -r
it doesnt show the CLI> prompt.It seems as if it has frozen or something like that. The only thing i cant do is to hit shift+X.Any help as to what the problem might be.

Make sure your asterisk is running.

@Mazilo…am very sure it is running.jst cant connect to the CLI

If your asterisk is running, then either asterisk -r or rasterisk will try to remotely connect to a running asterisk and prompts with CLI.
