Asterisk as passive voip recorder

Can I use asterisk only as a voip recorder attached to a span (mirror) port on a switch? We have an existing pbx but need the option to additionally record all phone calls made inside the voip network.

This means that no pbx funcionality is handled by asterisk, only the network traffic has to be recorded and saved to single phone call files. Maybe not asterisk itself has this option but asterisk with an additional “voice recording module”?!

If you want asterisk to record it then you would need it to be in the call path. There are devices that can listen in on a mirrored port but none of them come to mind ATM.
