I need a software that can do a stress test for my ARI application for miss calls, where i can call a certain extension 100 times to see how much load my asterisk server can handle. Is there a free software for such things? i found AsterTest on asteriskgugu.com but it is expensive.

The sipp tool[1] can be used to create SIP calls into Asterisk which then stay up for a period of time, or don’t, or send audio. It can also be used for sending calls from Asterisk to it. It really depends on what all you want to involve and do, and you write the scenario.
