Answer coming call via an application

Hi there, :smile:

I am learning on Asterisk-java, and I need to know how can I make my application running on a PC or server to make the phone answer the incoming call for that extension,

the phone is connected to the local network, same as the Asterisk PBX,
:question:
should the case be different if the phone is connected to the PC itself ??

You want to answer the call to Zoiper (for example) with external application?

As shmaize mentioned you can use Zoiper. You can also write a custom application that would work with the AMI (Asterisk Manager Interface).
