Andriod 3gp recording file

hi there,

I have come with a new situation, my client has built an andriod application, from which user can record message and then asterisk will dial number play that recording file. but the issue is andriod is recording file in 3gp, i am not sure how i can play 3gp audio file in asterisk, is there any way to play that format?

I tried Sox to convert that file, but failed. is there any other converter which support 3gp file to convert to wav?

I havent use it but I think you can use fmpeg:
