Almost There

I’m running FreeBSD-6.1 w/Asterisk 1.2.7.1 on a machine inside of my LAN. The LAN is connected to the Internet through another FreeBSD-6.0 machine running IPFW and NATD to a Comcast Cable modem. I have a Grandstream BT-200 IP Phone and X-Lite running on a WinXP machine that’s also on the LAN.

I have my two phones able to connect to one another and go through the IVR menus that came with Asterisk. I have successfully made a call to another FWDNET user but he could not call me. When he did the call simply rang one time and then immediately dumped to voice mail. The asterisk console said the phone was busy…I’m confused…!

Here is the extension for this Grandstream BT-200 phone. This is under the default context:

exten => 2000,1,SendText(hello world)
exten => 2000,n,Dial(SIP/2000,20)
exten => 2000,n,Voicemail(u2000@default)

Can anyone tell me why this dial plan won’t let me answer it.

Here is the entry for this phone under sip.conf

[2000]
type=friend
callerid=Darth Maul <951-231-1877>
host=dynamic
context=default
username=2000
secret=secret
qualify=yes
nat=yes
canreinvite=no
disallow=all
allow=ulaw

I hope I’m looking in the right places for this.
