Ztcfg -vv : 1 channels to configure

Hi all

Boring intro: My first time on Asterisk …

  • Setup used: RHEL4 + TDM400P + 1 FXO + Asterisk 1.4.17 + Zaptel 1.4.8
  • I compiled the sources before inserting the analog card. SIP endpoints were configured and working good.
  • After inserting the card, i have the following outputs:

ztcfg -vv

Channel map:
Channel 01: FXS Kewlstart (Default) (Slaves: 01)
1 channels to configure.

ztscan

[1]
active=yes
alarms=OK
description=Wildcard TDM400P REV I Board 1
name=WCTDM/0
manufacturer=Digium
devicetype=Wildcard TDM400P REV I
location=PCI Bus 05 Slot 05
basechan=1
totchans=4
irq=169
type=analog
port=1,FXO
port=2,none
port=3,none
port=4,none

Is it normal to get (1 channels to configure.) instead of getting ( 1 channels configured)?
Should i continue exploring Asterisk or something wrong happened and i have to re-work on this issue?

zaptel.conf

fxsks=1
loadzone = us
defaultzone = us

zapata.conf

[trunkgroups]
[channels]
usecallerid=yes
hidecallerid=no
callwaiting=no
threewaycalling=yes
transfer=yes
echocancel=yes
echotraining=yes
context=incoming
signaling=fxs_ks
channel => 1

I already did RTFM and googled around. But still not sure of this particular point.

Thanks in advance.

I found this:

Does it mean that nothing is wrong and they just changed this “statment” in the new version? :smile:

By the way, the back light of the port is on (green).

Howdy,

Your zaptel.conf and zapata.conf are just fine.

You’re all set.

Cheers.
