getting the following error with zaptel 1.4.8
Notice: Configuration file is /etc/zaptel.conf
line 13: Unable to register tone zone ‘us’
This is all that is in the /etc/zaptel.conf
loadzone = us
defaultzone = us
This is generated from genzaptelconf
I am unable to find any info on this error.

I had the same error coming up, and although I don’t have any zaptel cards installed, I use it for ztdummy.
I ended up stumbling across it by commenting out the defaultzone entry, and mine is left with only loadzone = au.
Worked straight away after that. Hope it’s the same for you.

I tried commenting out combinations of both and I still get the error. I have also tried using the nubmers instead of the us.
Hopefully someone will be able to explain what is wrong with it and if it is a fatal error.
