ZT_SPANCONFIG failed on span 1: Device not configured (6)

I’m using te205p card on freebsd 5.4 and it seem that my system is able to see the card but every time I try ztcfg I get this error message
ZT_SPANCONFIG failed on span 1: Device not configured (6)

what does it exactly mean?? and what should I do to fix this

did you configure it in zaptel.conf? did you load it with modprobe?

yes i did and all kinds of configuration in zaptel.conf give the same result
