Whether iax2 protocol support t38 fax

I want to know if iax2 protocol support t38 fax. I have setup a asterisk server connected to PSTN through PRI. Whether i can use iax ATA that connected fax machine to fax to PSTN fax machine. The iax ATA will connect to astersik server through internet.
