Hi, I’m new to Asterisk and I was able to install it successfully. However, I don’t know where to start. My requirements are to call a mobile phone. I already have a username and password plus the host address of the voip provider. What are the files needed to edit. Just the basic configurations.
- You have to have some client - SIP or IAX software or hardware client. Then you should register it in Asterisk and try their loved extention 500 - to see if client is registered.
(sip.conf, iax.conf) - You have to see how to make dialout - files to change are: sip.conf or iax.conf and extentions.conf.
