What is SHMZ release 6.5 built on?

Hello,

I’m trying to install some packages on top of my SHMZ now. specifically, dkms and patch.

Can anyone help me figure out what is SHMZ 6.5 built on?
I see ‘yum’ is there, so i guess it’s Fedora, but what version of Fedora!

Thanks

I do not believe this question has anything to do with Asterisk.

I recommend contacting the vendor of your product for help.

Hi John,

Right. It’s about AsteriskNow.
It’s by Digium as well.

Do you think that’s supported as well in the forum ?

BR,

I have a feeling that this relates to the FreePBX part of AsteriskNOW, which is supported at http://community.freepbx.org/

AsteriskNOW is built on CentOS (various versions).

It’s based on Centos 6 to be exact.

Thanks a lot. May I ask how you guys verify that ?

CentOS is the standard OS for Asterisk development. I guess the exact version came from promotional material, install or boot time messages, or running uname on the OS command line.
