Hi Friends,

      While i was trying to register Cisco IP phone i am getting the following errors.

WARNING[3034]: chan_sip.c:13581 register_verify: Failed to parse contact info
WARNING[3044]: app_dial.c:1759 dial_exec_full: Unable to create channel of type ‘SIP’ (cause 20 - Unknown)

Can any one tell me what might be the problem.

An invalid or unsupported contact header in the register request.

You should have supplied a copy, but my guess would be that a TEL: URL is the most likely cause.

The failed to create channel is simply because the device is un-registered.
