Friends,
Voicemail suddenly stopped the work.
Whenever the Voicemail receives a connection, at the moment when it should start recording, it causes a bug in Asterisk that does not appear in the logs and Asterisk died with segmentation fault.
I have no idea what is going on.
Somebody help me here?
I think, you want: upgrade your Asterisk to a recent stable or check/upgrade your hardware or debug your core file. there’s a little chance, that your configs are too complicate/buggy
imho, there can’t be standard recipe, sorry

CentOS 5.3 x86_64
Asterisk 1.6.0.9 x86_64
Dell Vostro 220s with Intel Core 2 Duo 3Ghz, 4GB RAM.
I use the AsteriskNOW RPM packages from packages.digium.com
I have exactly the same problem with :
gentoo x86_64
a refresh install with asterisk 1.6.1.1 and freepbx 2.5.1 just updated.

The last stable package in portage tree is 1.2.32 
No 1.4, and I’d like to install something more recent on my new server.

Asterisk crashes trying to read new voicemail messages . It was a hard one to find . Voicemail uses odbc to connect to mysql where the messages get stored. Solved the issue by deleting the troublesome message from the database .
