Voicemail and hangup problem


I’m using asterisknow 1.7 (asterisk 1.6.2). I began to use the feature “record incommings” for recording the incomming calls, so I detect that when a call enters in a voicemail the asterisk doesn’t detect the hang up and the calls have 30 minutes of duration, when the remote user has hanged up.

My extensions uses a SPA8000 and the calls enters to my asterisk throught a VoIP provider.

What parameters I should see?

Do a protocol trace for the protocol used by the VoIP provider and confirm that you are receiving an end of call message from them. If not, take it up with them.
