Using ISDN phone with Asterisk?

I have ISDN today, with fancy ISDN phones. I am considering getting rid of my ISDN service and switching to voip and asterisk. Is there a way to keep the phones?

Hi Magnus,

Sure, search for IAXy from Digium if you plan to use IAX, or some other boxes alike. I have read about a nice and cheap Linksys box too.

There are several ata’s on the market, digium markets an iaxy that is compatible with adsi, but you should be able to track one down that works with your brand of isdn phone if it complies to standards, otherwise you will have to purchase new phones, or you could piggy back your old pbx off of asterisk and slowly move to asterisk.
