Using asterix for IVR with Mitel ICP

Hi, I’m intereseted to know if I could link a Mitel ICP 3300 with asterix over an IP trunk (to save on hardware cost).

Basically we would be looking to forward inbound calls over an IP trunk to the asterix box which would then play IVR and queue the call back across the IP trunk to a Mitel Directory Path.

I’m not sure if this is possible but I would be interested to hear what people have to say about this.

Thanks

Kenny

Hi

Yes its possible but cost wise Im not sure how the savings would go, Each SIP licence is ?85, You may find you need two channels per call.

were not on version 7 for the ICP yet either (the upgrade is planned soon).

I believe that version 7 is where the SIP functionality was introduced.

It 7.1 now with sip trunks and extensions.
