I have a working asterisk box right now. I wanted to install a unixodbc and mysql-odbc on it. Do I have to compile again the asterisk?I’m going to use this one for the asterisk realtime. My database is located on other box/server. Please help.

asterisk-addons provides the link between Asterisk and MySQL. that’s what you need to compile and install. don’t forget the create the config files too.
