Am I correct at assuming that there is a TFTP server as part of *?

if so, is there any info on it anywhere, I am having trouble connecting , connection times out.

No, the TFTP server is not part of asterisk. However, you should have no trouble looking up a tftp server howto on google.

then the FTFP server must be part of Trixbox then, I have found that it is installed, as when i googled it, the details was already matching setups.

Xinetd, i just cant seem to connect with it.
