TCP and UDP calling issues

Hi all,

I am using Asterisk 1.8. | Realtime
When I set the “transport” of a specific user to “udp;tcp” , Asterisk accepts only “UDP” , and when i set it to “tcp;udp”, it accept to “TCP” , in short , it accepts the one that is seen first.

Moreover, I cannot call between those users registered in that way. I can see sometimes a user registered as UDP user , see INVITE as TCP request and hence the client does not respond. Also tried enabling the UPDATE parameter in sip.conf, but it dint worked.

Any workaround of that issue?
Thanks

Expected behaviour since ";’ starts a comment.

It is more likely to need a “,”, but if it expects “;”, you will have to use “;”.
