This might be a project that I have comming up in the future. I have a site with a Mitel system that has a T1 comming in with 24 channels. If i am able to replace that system with asterisk would one T1 Card be enough to handle that? also what would the Dialplan look like since those phone lines will ring into different departments? Thanks.
Yes a single span T1 card will handle a single T1 which has up to 24 channels. It’s pretty basic dialplan and can be found all around the net.
