Support UTF-8 in ARA(mysql odbc) with PJSIP?

I have an Asterisk 16.13.0(pjsip module) on CentOS 6 with MySQL 5.

I create an End-point “9002” using MySQL(UTF-8) ODBC like this

mysql> select id, transport, callerid from ps_endpoints where id =‘9002’;
±-----±------------------±-------------------+
| id | transport | callerid |
±-----±------------------±------------------+
| 9002 | transport-udp | 한글<9002> |
±-----±-------------------±------------------+

But at CLI, I can’t see the correct callerid like this.

asteriskcti*CLI> pjsip show endpoint 9002

call_group : 1
callerid : “??” <9002>

so if I dial from 9002 to 9001, caller(name) value is strange in INVTE message.

CentOS 6 use an UTF-8
what’s the problem?

UTF-8 support in Asterisk in general is not something that has been fully tested/explored/implemented.
