Sound Card in Asterisk server

is sound card is required in Asterisk server for Play autoattendent (IVR) on client end for SIP clients ??

No. Asterisk is all software based and does not require a local sound card.

Asterisk IS the server end. Of course for the Softphones you need a soundcard.
