I have been using asterisk for some time and using a Snom 220. This combination has worked great for over 6 months.
I recently installed asterisk 1.4.2 and the Snom phone no longer places people on hold correctly. When I place a caller on hold asterisk plays the user music on hold as is expected, however when I take the user off hold the music continues to play and I can hear myself on the handset.
I am trying to work out if it is an asterisk problem or if the phone has the problem. My other snom phones are not affected.
One thing I have noticed is that when the call is taken off hold, the asterisk console says ‘music stopped’ but straight after is says ‘music started’. I know this shouldn’t be happening.
I would appreciate any help or advice.
