SMDI for using * as a voicemail only?

I did some googling and found some recent info on SMDI for *.

How do I go about finding/including this so I can test it with my asterisk box?

Sorry if this seems noobish, I’ve never participated in any open source development and I wasn’t sure where I should begin.

Hello, I’m new to asterisk as well and im attempting to make SMDI work on my asterisk box as well. Can someone please advise on where these changes need to be set?
