How to set custom application on soft button on Digium phone? For example, instead of button for contacts set custom application for searching ldap directory?

it is a possible solution, but the problem with d40 without side bar. Is it possibly to call apps instead Contacts button or set the ldap directory search options directly from the phone, not through the application.

You can use the second line key of the D40 and assign an application to it.
